The Foundation is working in partnership with chartered surveyors Cluttons to better understand the property situation and needs of the UK’s largest charities. Over the next two days Foundation Director Jo Taylor will be facilitating two roundtable events, hosted by Cluttons. The roundtables are bringing together household names from the charity sector to explore the property strategies that can best meet their operational and investment property needs.
Foundation Director Jo Taylor said ‘The current property market offers both opportunities and challenges to the charity sector. I am delighted to be working with Cluttons to build a better understanding of the unique property needs of the charity sector.’
Although property is a charity’s second-biggest cost, charity specific market intelligence is lacking, so findings will be beneficial to the sector as a whole. The Foundation and Cluttons will be sharing learning from the roundtables in the New Year.
