The Ethical Property Foundation appoints Antonia Swinson as its new Director

27 January 2014

The Ethical Property Foundation is pleased to announce it has appointed Antonia Swinson as its new Director. She will take up her post on February 3rd.

Antonia Swinson has been a non-profit Chief Executive since 2005 in London and Scotland, and has worked on a number of new business projects which fuse her interest in small business and social enterprise with practical politics. Prior to this, she was an award-winning business columnist writing on both London and Scottish nationals and has written five books, fiction and non-fiction.

Antonia has served on the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust Power & Responsibility Committee and Social Enterprise UK and is a former Chair of the Society of Authors in Scotland. She is currently a Fellow of the RSA.
John Whitaker, Ethical Property Foundation Chairman, said: “The Board and I are looking forward to working with Antonia as we enter our tenth year of helping charities make the most of their properties. She has had a varied and successful professional life and her experience in the non-profit sector in particular will be a huge asset to the Foundation.”

“I would also like to thank Jo Taylor, who has led the Foundation since its formation and leaves us in a very strong position. Her hard work and excellent leadership has enabled us to make a genuine difference to over a thousand charitable organisations. We wish her well for her future freelance career.”

Antonia Swinson said: “I am delighted to be joining the Foundation at this exciting point in its development. Jo Taylor and her colleagues have done an extraordinary job in partnership with the Board and I am very much looking forward to joining the team next month.”
