Template licence now available to download

19 April 2010

A licence is a flexible, short term agreement, often between six months and two years. It would be issued to an occupier who does not have exclusive access to the space, for example where you are letting out a couple of desks in your office, or in managed workspace where tenants can be moved about if necessary.

This type of agreement is be especially useful in this economic climate, when many organisations might consider letting out some of their space, or property, to others.

To make things clear and easy for anyone considering an arrangement of this sort, we have produced a new template licence, which is available to download as part of the Property Advice Resources on this site. You can see it here. It has been written by Nick Ivey, of Bates Wells Braithwaite Solicitors, with support from them, and includes tips and explanations to help make things simple.
