New £11.5m support scheme for Community Right to Challenge

09 July 2012

A new £11.5m support scheme will help voluntary organisations take over the running of public services in their communities. The Community Right to Challenge Grant Programme will complement the wider Community Rights Programme which includes a advice service run by Locality.

Andrew Stunnell MP announced the programme at the Locality conference at Hebden Bridge on Friday 6 July 2012.

The grants programme will open in mid-July and more information on criteria and  applications will be available then.
